Heart Restoration Clues

Heart: Gr = Kardia. The centre of the will, the hidden inner person / seat of the inward life, the mind or intellect, understanding or soul life, thoughts and morality feelings.
Restoration: Make amends / restitution, finish, make complete, restore, repair, mend, join together, made, deliver, recompense, to be at peace, reconstitute in health, home or organisation.

”If you confess (acknowledge / express) with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe (have faith, trust and confidence) in your heart that God raised him from the dead you shall be saved (delivered, protected, preserved, healed, made whole). For with the heart you believe and are justified (made righteous or innocent, acquitted and equal) and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved,” Romans 10:9-10

”Now when the people heard (
how they had helped put Jesus to death and how he fulfilled the Old Testament scriptures through his life and resurrection) they were cut (pricked, pierced / agitated) in their hearts and said to Peter and the other apostles, ‘Brothers what shall we do?’ Peter replied repent (have a fundamental childlike transformation of your mind / change your mind / amend and turnaround) and be baptised (made fully wet / washed) every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ (the anointed saviour of God) for the forgiveness (freedom / remission / deliverance / liberty ) of your sins (offence / crime ancient archery term for missing the mark) and you shall receive the gift (offering) of the Holy Spirit ( pure breath, breeze, vital principal of the divine presence). This promise is for you and your children and for all those who are far off – for all whom the Lord our God will call,” Acts 2:37.

 

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind (heart) has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him,” – 1 Corinthians 2:9 (Isaiah 64:4)

 “Your beauty should not come from outward adornment” (braided hair, fine jewellery or clothing).. instead it should be of your inner self (inner person /the hidden person of the heart)…the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit which is of great worth in God’s sight,”  – 1 Peter 3:4.

“Let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything,” – 1 John 3:20

 “Now it is God who makes us stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit (like an engagement ring), guaranteeing what is to come,” - 2 Corinthians 1:21-22.
