I chase the rainbow
Seven colours
melt into light like the sun
Darkness is undone.
I see pictures in a million shades
but the canvas is bleeding
There's a rip in the sky;
an apocalyptic sigh
like some Christ-side pierced.
The golden scroll unfolds
with the words of the Book of Life
Heaven's riders riding through:
A voice like thunder speaks
Into every naked heart.
The elements conform to a different order
Cautious feet at translations border.
Floods, famines and disasters
Judgment for the unjust
A lightning purge, waves crashing;
Then light and joy
 in every droplet of new rain.
Revelation - the revealing:
A mark of a different kind
In your hands and mind
The tide changing,  then the shout;
called to the inner chamber
 - no longer a stranger
in a foreign land.
Stillness at the heart of the storm
Earth takes on its hidden heavenly form.
